Bryan fixing the tubing for our Sawyer water filter apparatus

Meeting a few friends for khati-khati (spiced chicken) and plantains at a local restaurant.

Bryan got bitten! (by a patient!). Thankfully it was through a long-sleeve shirt and white coat, so no post-exposure HIV prophylaxis medication needed. This poor patient suffered from acute psychosis.

Hospital's Christmas tree.

Yes, those are LIVE POINSETTAS! Just a typical day on our walk to work.

Bryan went to the market to buy an extension cord. He was handed these. (And yes, he got them to work!)

Benny belongs to Mark & Jessica Spangler and their family (neighbors who fly the S.I.L. helicopter).

A new resident of our neighborhood. Look how nicely trimmed he/she keeps the grass!

Stephen, head of the lab, appreciates a microscope we brought. We appreciate MedWish.org for donating it! Now the main lab doesn't have to borrow the Tuberculosis microscope for routine tests.

"Doctor's Choir" rehearsing for Christmas performance. Dr. Beri (pink scrubs) is a Switzerland trained ophthalmologist and medical director extraordinaire.
Doctor's choir sings "Yebo Kunjalo" ("One Love"). Every Christmas each group and/or department prepares a presentation for morning chapel - many Cameroonian's call it the highlight of the year.

Bryan and his friend, hospital guard "Cosmos," have a routine where they always salute each-other formally. Those who know Bryan may be aware of his collection of (obsession with) real-appearing (?fake) security badges and may notice the one now around Cosmos' neck. The next day every security guard was asking Bryan for one as well!

Waiting for our baggage in Douala airport.

Every bag arrived!
